The founder story
The problem was clearest inside large facilities like Walmart: long walks, dozens of extinguishers, and a clipboard full of serial numbers and locations that had to be written down by hand.
The phone photo roll filled up with extinguisher pictures. Those photos still had to be matched to the right equipment, service notes, and deficiencies. Then the real administrative work began after leaving the site.
Hours were spent rebuilding field notes into an inspection report a customer could understand. Generic field-service software could do many things, but the actual extinguisher inspection remained awkward.
The label already had the data. The technician already had a camera. The inspection app needed to connect the two.
