What devices are supported?

Extinguisher Scanner is currently available for iPhone and works well on iPad, although the experience is optimized for iPhone while technicians are moving through buildings. Android support is in development and coming soon.

Do I need internet to inspect?

No. Extinguisher Scanner is designed to work offline so technicians can keep inspecting in mechanical rooms, stairwells, basements, schools, hospitals, and other areas with unreliable cell service.

Do I need stickers or barcodes?

No. Extinguisher Scanner is designed to work with the extinguisher labels already in the field. You do not need to install a barcode system or manage stickers before starting inspections.

What does “Automatic NFPA service recommendations” mean?

Extinguisher Scanner helps recommend the correct service schedule based on the extinguisher type, including dry chemical, CO₂, Halotron, water, water mist, Purple K, Class K, and other supported extinguishers.
